The harborside Drøbak Tourist Information (tel. 64 93 50 87, 8:30am-4pm Mon.-Fri., 10am-2pm Sat.-Sun.) will help you orient yourself, suggest hikes, and confirm return transport options to Oslo. Follow signs for Drøbak Aquarium to find the office.

Getting There

Drøbak is 39 kilometers (24 miles) south of central Oslo along the main E6 highway. If making the 40-minute drive, exit the E6 onto Rv23 and follow the signs for Drøbak. Parking is free for four hours at the AMFI shopping mall, a 30-minute walk from the harbor. Street parking costs 33kr per hour (free 5pm-8am).

Public bus route 500 departs Oslo Bus Terminal every half hour throughout the day. The one-hour journey requires a two-zone ticket (52kr advance, 70kr on board), which is not covered by the Oslo Pass or the regular public transit pass, unless you specifically bought a zone extension.
